Music Visual made with processing

I got inspired by the harmonic series – sequences of pure, whole tones. When I looked at the frequency’s waves all together I perceived a image of a seashell. I analyzed the audio [see songTest picture below], and selected specific frequencies for use in my Music Visual to precisely control the height and size of each wave.

This visual represents a journey through a bioluminescent sea to discover a seashell. It responds to the audio frequencies, with an accurate synchronization between the music´s timing and the graphics.
